The 50p stamp shows the first stamp of Jaipur state showing the Sun Chariot against the background of Hawa Mahal. The 200p stamp shows a mobile Camel Post Office functioning in the Thar Desert. The First Day Cover depicts the popular "Ghoomar Dance".
The 5th India National Philatelic Exhibition, 1986 was held at the City Palace, Jaipur from 14 Feb. 1986 to 19 Feb 1986 under the auspices of the Department of Posts in co-operation with the Philatelic Congress of India.
