Philately Day was celebrated all over the country during a week's celebration of National Postal Week from 9 – 15 October 2013. 12th October. is being celebrated as Philately Day in all Post Offices of the country. On this day stamp exhibitions and workshops are organized. A miniature sheet with Mahatma Gandhi as its theme was released.
