(50P) No account of flowers is ever said to be complete without a mention of the Rhododendrans, which include most of the Azaleas of the floriculturists. About 110 species of Rhododendron are found wild in India- and some consider their number to be more, particularly in the Himalayan region. The best known to these is the Himalayan Tree-Rhododendron, introduced in England before 1815. Some of the world's most gorgeous cultivated Rhododendron

(Re1.00) Neolamarckia cadamba, commonly called Kadamba, is an evergreen, tropical tree native to South and Southeast Asia. The genus name honours French naturalist Jean-Baptiste Lamarck. The species has been widely but incorrectly called Anthocephalus chinensis. It has scented orange flowers in dense globe-shaped clusters. The flowers are used in perfumes. The tree is grown as an ornamental plant and for timber and paper-making. Kadam features in Indian mythology and religion.

(Rs2.00) Gloriosa is a genus of 12 species in the plant family Colchicaceae, and include the formerly recognised genus Littonia. They are native in tropical and southern Africa to Asia. The most common English names are flame lilyfire lilygloriosa lilyglory lilysuperb lilyclimbing lily, and creeping lily.
They are tender, tuberous rooted deciduous perennials, adapted to summer rainfall with a dormant dry season. All parts of the plant contain colchicine and related alkaloids and are therefore dangerously toxic if ingested, and contact with the stems and leaves can cause skin irritation. Various preparations of the plant are used in traditional medicines for a variety of complaints. In Indian language of Telugu, in the state of Andhra Pradesh it is called Naabhi and was used in traditional medicine.
